2009 YMCA Short Course Nationals

Congratulations to Danny Aberle, Katherine Glenn, Sava Turcanu, and Graham Williams for a great meet in Fort Lauderdale, Florida at the 2009 YMCA Short Course National Championships.  As a group, they achieved 15 new lifetime best times.  8 team records were broken at the meet:
Sava Turcanu - 13-14 500 Free, 13-14 and Senior 200 Fly
Katherine Glenn - Senior 1000 and 1650 Free
Graham Williams - Senior 500, 1000, and 1650 Free
There were 1,675 athletes representing 231 teams from across the country at the meet.  YSST had 5 top 24 finishes.  Katherine Glenn was 23rd in the 1650 Free.  Sava Turcanu was 23rd in the 200 Fly.  Graham Williams was 6th in the 1650 Free, 12th in the 1000 Free, and 14th in the 500 Free.  Graham also qualified for the USA Swimming Long Course Junior Nationals to be held in Federal Way, Washington in August.
