Cherkez breaks longstanding test set record

Polina Cherkez set a new standard in a longstanding test set for YSST.  The set is 8 X 100's on 6:00.  The goal of the set is to have an average as close as possible to your best time while also having the range of times be as minimal as possible.  The Gold group did the set on 1/21/10.  Polina's range was 0.8 seconds, and her average time was also 0.8 seconds off her lifetime best.  The record holder was Coach Shannon Brewer from several years ago.  Shannon's range was 1.2 seconds and her average was 1.6 seconds off her lifetime best.  Congratulations Polina!!  Click here to view the results.
