Peterson, Williams, Maria and Sava Turcanu honored at NCS Banquet

The North Carolina Swimming annual awards banquet was held on Sunday, April 25th in Charlotte, NC.  YSST had four athletes recognized.  Congratulations to Emmaline Peterson, Maria Turcanu, Graham Williams, and Sava Turcanu for their accomplishments.  All four were awarded for Top Five performances in North Carolina.  Graham and Sava were also recognized as North Carolina Swimming All-Stars and National Top Ten rankings for USA Swimming.  Graham was also honored for setting two new state records.  Sava was selected as the 13-14 Male Swimmer of the Year for North Carolina Swimming as well.  Congratulations to all four!!!  Brendan Hansen (Olympic Gold Medalist) was the featured speaker for the event.
