The kickoff event for the Hickory Foundation YMCA Children's Fund was tonight. This fund provides scholarships to participants that are not able to afford the fees for programs and membership to the Y. In 2011, YSST gave out $8,403 in assistance. The team raised $3,000 for the fund. We hope to close that gap this year. More info to come soon on the plans for YSST's support of this effort!! The theme this year is "I am".
