Capital Classic Recap

YSST had awesome performances at the Capital Classic.  This meet is the the third fastest YMCA meet in the country behind the two Y National meets.  For the weekend, YSST swims were 91% lifetime best times.  We achieved 3 Junior National A cuts, 1 Junior National B cut, 10 NEW Y National cuts, 12 new team records, and 2 new meet records.  Below is the summary.

Jr Nat A Cuts - 800 Free Relay of Maly Shores, Emmaline Peterson, Anna Durak, and Maria Turcanu.  Emmaline Peterson (1000 and 1650 Free).

Jr Nat B Cut - Emmaline Peterson (500 Free).

NEW Y National Cuts - 800 Free Relay (Maly, Emmaline, Anna, and Maria), Sophia Cherkez (500 Free and 200 IM), Anna Durak (200 Free and 500 Free), Emmaline Peterson (200 Fly), Maria Turcanu (200 Free and 1650 Free), and Emma Weisgerber (100 Fly and 200 Fly).

New Team Records - Sophia Cherkez (13-14 girls 200 IM), Anna Durak (13-14 girls 200 Free), Ross Dant (11-12 boys 200 Back), Faith Hefner (11-12 girls 50 Fly and 200 Fly), Emmaline Peterson (13-14 and Open 500 Free, 1000 Free, and 1650 Free), and Maria Turcanu (Girls Open 200 Free).

New Meet Records - Ross Dant (11-12 boys 200 Fly and 500 Free).
