USA Swimming Junior Nationals Recap

YSST had great swims at the 2013 USA Swimming Junior Nationals.  The 800 Free Relay of Maria Turcanu, Anna Durak, Emmaline Peterson, and Maly Shores had a huge drop at the Capital Classic to qualify for this meet.  They beat their time from a week ago and moved up 20 spots from their seed time.  Emmaline Peterson had an amazing mile.  She set 6 new team records (13-14 and Open 500 Free, 1000 Free, and 1650 Free) and had 5 personal best times in one swim from her splits (100 Free, 200 Free, 500 Free, 1000 Free, and 1650 Free).  She scored in the event as a rookie at the meet placing 12th.  CONGRATS TO ALL FOR THEIR ACCOMPLISHMENTS,  This is only the beginning of great things to come for the team!!
