Ten YSST athletes are on the North Carolina Swimming Top Ten list for the 2010-2011 Short Course season as of January 22, 2011. Congratulations to Emmaline Peterson, Emma Weisgerber, Maria Turcanu, Marinela Procopii, Sava Turcanu, Jake Pierce, Janie Kennedy, Jessica Burgess, Graham Williams, and Joseph Lackey for their accomplishments. The YSST Master's group had 13 athletes compete in the annual postal one hour swim recently. Congratulations to Dixon Mitchell for setting the mark with a total of 4850 yards. One of the participants was a 67 year old woman who began the program in December 2010. She swam a total of 1750 yards!!! Congratulations to all!!! More details on this event to come.

There will be practice today (Tuesday 1/11/11). Senior and Gold Group will be from 3:30-5:30 pm and Silver Plus will be from 4:00-5:30 pm.
