The Gold Group had a timed 500 in practice on Tuesday (1/5/10).  Click here for the results.

Graham Williams and Sava Turcanu represented YSST at the USA Swimming Junior National Championships in Columbus, OH on December 10-12, 2009.  Graham set a new team record in the Open Male 500 Free and Turcanu set new standards in the 13-14 Male 500 and 1650 Free.  Graham finished 19th in the 1650 Free and 28th in the 500 Free.  Sava finished 31st in the 1650 Free.  The team records have been updated.

Four new team records were set the weekend of December 4-6, 2009.  At the WAVE Winter Classic in Cary, Cory Spencer set a new record in the 11-12 boys 200 yard breaststroke.  At the NSS Winter Invitational in Charlotte, Sava Turcanu set new standards in the 13-14 boys 100 and 200 yard freestyle events as well as the Open 200 yard freestyle.  Congratulations Cory and Sava!
