Emmaline Peterson and Sava Turcanu have set new team records. Emmaline broke the team record in the 9-10 girls 500 Free at the 2010 YSST Winter Invitational. Sava set a new standard in the 13-14 boys 1000 Free at the 2010 NCS Senior Champs. Congratulations to both for their accomplishments!! The records have been updated. Polina Cherkez set a new standard in a longstanding test set for YSST. The set is 8 X 100's on 6:00. The goal of the set is to have an average as close as possible to your best time while also having the range of times be as minimal as possible. The Gold group did the set on 1/21/10. Polina's range was 0.8 seconds, and her average time was also 0.8 seconds off her lifetime best. The record holder was Coach Shannon Brewer from several years ago. Shannon's range was...
