Results from the 2008 Lynchburg Firecracker Invitational have been posted on the Meet Schedule page. 

The NCS Open Water Champs results have been posted on the Meet Schedule page.  Congratulations to Katherine Glenn and Danny Aberle for their performances.  Katherine won the Women's 10K event and Danny finished 3rd in the Men's 10K event. 

The Long Course team records have been updated.  Emma Weisgerber broke the 10 & under 400 Free team record at the 2nd Annual Bob Pratt Invitational.

The results from the 2008 Piranhas Hula Invitational have been posted on the Meet Schedule page. 

The Long Course team records have been updated.  At the 11th Annual YSSC Coach's Invite, Sophia Cherkez broke the 8 & under 100 Back and 100 Fly team records.    

The North Carolina Swimming Awards Banquet was held Sunday, May 4th in Charlotte.  YSST had five athletes recognized at the banquet.  Cory Spencer, Katherine Glenn, Miriam McDonald, Graham Williams, and Sava Turcanu were recognized as Top 5 performers in their respective age groups.  Additionally, Graham Williams and Sava Turcanu were named North Carolina Swimming All-Stars (Graham for 13-14 boys and Sava for both 11-12 and 13-14 boys).  Also, Sava Turcanu was recognized for setting a new state record in the 11-12 boys 200 yard butterfly.
