YSST has achieved Level 4 in the USA Swimming Club Recognition program.  This is the highest possible level in the program.  We are the 4th team in North Carolina, the 7th YMCA in the country, and the 59th team overall in the country to achieve Level 4.  There are 2,625 teams in USA Swimming.  That puts YSST in the top 2%.  Congrats to all for their efforts to achieve this accomplishment!!

Six IMX team records were set during the 2012-2013 short course season.  Ten athletes surpassed the previous records.  The 11 yr old girls record was set in 2009-2010 by Emma Weisgerber with a score of 3009.  This season, Nina Turcanu scored 3057, and Faith Hefner scored 3052.  The 13 yr old girls record was set in 2003-2004 by Miriam McDonald with a score of 3474.  This season, Emmaline Peterson scored 4335 (which is the highest IMX score by a female in any age group by a YSST swimmer), Sophia Cherkez...
