The IM Xtreme Games promote and reward versatility in age group swimming while advocating greater participation and development across a range of events. The goal is to enable long term success in swimming. YSST has tabulated team records from the inception of the program. Click here to view the records.
The YSST Spring Break will be the first two weeks of April. There will be no practice for any groups the weeks of April 2nd and 9th. All groups will resume the normal schedule on Monday, April 16th. Any group changes will be announced by May 4th. Sami Alkoutami, David Glenn, Janie Kennedy, Jake Pierce, Marinela Procopii, and Sava Turcanu will be representing YSST at the 2012 YMCA Short Course National Championships in Greensboro on April 2-5.

The kickoff event for the Hickory Foundation YMCA Children's Fund was tonight. This fund provides scholarships to participants that are not able to afford the fees for programs and membership to the Y. In 2011, YSST gave out $8,403 in assistance. The team raised $3,000 for the fund. We hope to close that gap this year. More info to come soon on the plans for YSST's support of this effort!! The theme this year is "I am". 1
