The YSST Spring Break will be the weeks of April 7th and 14th. There will be no practice for any group from April 5th through April 20th. Normal practices will resume on Monday, April 21st. Group changes will be announced on May 2nd.

YSST was very well represented at the 2014 North Carolina Swimming 14 & Under Short Course Championships. Congratulations to Sophia Cherkez, Ross Dant, Anna Durak, Lauren Ferner, Caitlin Hefner, Faith Hefner, Mia Macon, Emmaline Peterson, Stephan Procopii, Audrey Shores, Maly Shores, Kayanna Taylor, and Nina Turcanu for a great meet!! YSST performances included a new state record, 14 swims under team records, 6 new YMCA National qualifying times, and 33 top 16 finishes. YSST has 50 athletes registered for the 2014 YSST Winter Invitational. Click here to view the entries. We will need help from YSST families that are not swimming in the morning sessions. We only have about a dozen swimmers in the morning sessions, and most of our 13 & overs will be at the High School State Championship meet. We are very concerned about having enough volunteer timers.
